CATS
It's been awhile since I caught a musical, and even longer since I caught a good one that would etch itself deep in my memories. Today, however, I saw the reason that CATS has been on Broadway for such a long time, and is still drawing and aweing crowds today.
Stepping into the Esplanade Theatre with R, we were greeted by a beautiful, elaborate stage, magnificent lights and props all pieced together in a fine masterpiece. Just looking at it, I knew that the musical had to be good, and it didn't disappoint. The dancing, the singing, the acrobatics, were absolutely amazing!
If you haven't watched it, or don't have plans to watch it, I can tell you that you're seriously missing out! Get your tickets before it's too late!

Mmmm.
OK I realised that my blog is starting to stagnate once more, but that's mainly cos nothing much has been happening in my life also. LOL other than the usual family meetups and occasional Wala Wala session, life has been pretty smooth sailing.
Yesterday I had my first real experience of driving on the roads thanks to Haz. Aahaahaha a little clunky and scary at first, but I think after awhile I got the hang of it. Now I just gotta work on parking.. Hehe.
In the meantime, Lina introduced me to yet another symphonic metal band that I kind of immediately took on to. Xandria, a German metal band, complete with a female vocalist. Not as powerful a voice as Nightwish, but I think she pulls it off very well!
